I’ve been using sketchup to model my dome home. I’m also using Autocad. Which do architects generally prefer?

Bill, I’ve been waiting for some response from the architectural types, but not expecting it. 
Its a nice design that you’ve been working on. My own personal preferences would provide the upper windows with an opening mechanism for ventilation. Also, my local home insurance companies increase the rates some for attached garages in homes, so we tend to favor detached garages for that reason.
Where are you going to build this dome home? In Texas, we value a covered deck / patio. Your front door would be facing to the east for the same reason; the afternoon sun.
Thanks for your input. I agree about the windows being open-able. Not sure where we’ll end up building this. Perhaps Tennessee. I’m pretty used to having easy access to my workspace/garage. It would be difficult to give that up. I’ve attached a shot of the back of the structure. I expect that an good architect, with some dome experience, will want to change a lot of things. That’s kind of why I’m looking for a good medium to share my design. - Bill
I have become aware over the years that a dome comes with compromises different than those of stick house construction.
My plans had to change things like your outdoor deck / balcony to get a similar experience, but without the stick-built construction.
Same with the garage treatment. A separate small garage dome could be added and be just as convenient if you also added a short “tunnel” walkway between them.
