Should have added that there was earth over it - the D-9 had not been driven straight up the side of a dome!

From the look of it, that’s a “Formworks Building, Inc.” home. They use a bolted together steel rib kit to build a dome structure for their earth sheltered home. Before I retired, part of my job for 21 years was responding to natural disasters. The only building that I’ve seen stand up to Nature’s fury were either round, domes, thick concrete or earth sheltered. I’m planning on building a monolithic dome for myself (just need the money”. An earth-sheltered Formworks Building Inc. home would be my very acceptable second choice.
